Selection Criteria
The primary selection factor for the HP Inc bursary is academic achievement. Only students who meet the minimum academic performance standard of 65 percent and above in their latest mid-year or June examinations will be considered for the bursary.

- Clear head-and-shoulders photograph
- Certified copy of your South African ID document
- Matric certificate
- Full academic record and latest results (June 2025 or progress report)
- Proof of household income for parents or guardians:
- Payslips if employed
- Affidavit if unemployed
- Affidavit of income if self-employed
- Audited financial statement or 3 months’ bank statements if a business is owned
- SASSA letter if applicable
- Parents’ death certificates if deceased
- Letter from court or affidavit stating child support amount if parents are divorced or separated
Closing Date
The application season runs from 01 May to 30 September 2025. Late applications will not be accepted, so applicants are encouraged to submit their completed applications well before the closing date.
